Your closest bet is King Hobbies in Valparaiso. Check out their thread. If you are willing to drive a bit, Granger Raceway in Granger, IN is about 1 hour from you on the toll road. I haven't raced at King Hobbies, but Granger puts on a pretty good show.

It would be a little over 2 hours for you, but Stateline RC in Fremont, IN is hosting the first of a 4-race series between them and Granger tomorrow. Should be a ton of 4x4 SC trucks and 1/8th scale buggies. Both tracks put on good shows and are worth the drive!! Stateline's "big" track is specifically designed for 1/8th scale and I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

King headz in Valpo races tonight, I'll be heading out there shortly. Maybe 1/2 hour drive from downtown Crown Point...

SOrry I just seen this, tires for SC are super soft city block or equivalent I usually run citys during the day and a low pin tire like a suburb at night. Havent seen a wheeler class out there yet
