Ok, after doing some major tire testing on the 1/8th late models we are going to impliment a tire rule after this week. The 1/8th scale buggy tires are really doing a number on the track and we have decided to only allow 4 different tires for the LM class. All 4 are made for LM racing and are more track freindly than the big pin buggy tires. I will post a link later today to the different tires.

You are correct and after this weekend we will be implementing a tire rule for 1/8th scale LM and buggy. If you want to run either class you will have to run 1 of 3 tires that we are going to allow. The track is getting pretty tore up by the big pin tires. I will see if Toby or Scott can post a link to the approved tires.

On a side note we have been working really hard to get the track ready for this weekend and so far it is awesome. It should make for some great racing.

here is the LM rules from MONEE that most all tracks do run. i have talked to Joe the other night and side dame won't be allowed, so mine will come off. the losi DLM1 and DLM2 tires would be the only addition to the LM rules below.

Class: 1/8 Gas Late Model Stock Car

Body: Present day late model

Wheelbase: 12.750" to 13.125" maximum

Maximum Track Width: 12.375"

Minimum Weight: 8.0 lb (128 oz)

Fuel Tank: 150cc max

Engine Limit: .26cu in.

Transmission: 4WD,Single speed

Tires:OFNA 86505,86052

Other: 2" maximum height rear spoiler, attached to body, spoiler end plates 11 sq.in.

Joe here is the link to Monee raceway if you want to see other class rules. every so often they do run foam tires on the 10th scale.

I am not going to get crazy with alot of rules for the classes that we are going to run but for the 1/8th scale LM and buggy class I am implimenting a tire and body rule. To run in the LM class you must use one of the 4 dirt oval tires and must have a LM body. If you are running a 1/8th scale buggy you must run one of the 4 approved tires.

Losi makes 2 different approved tires as well as Ofna.

The main idea behind the track is to have fun 1st and be competitive second. We all want to win but I want people to go away after a day at my track and be happy knowing they had a good time racing.

Also, the new scoring system is coming in today and we should be up and running for this weekend. The new system does accept personal transponders. We will have house transponders on loan from our friends at MRCR so we want to say thank you to them.

Looks to be decent weather for this weekend's race and we will have food available as well. Hope to see everyone out for a good race day.

Man you guys sure make it hard to decide, run the mud bogger or rc truck. I sure think the rc truck would save some cash

The losi only looked good because it was the only stadium truck in the that race, I think I should not have been running with the short coarse trucks. Get some more stadium trucks or sliders and and I will not look so good. I did keep up with chuck for a while on the one day I made it out to practice. Sure would like to compare his main and mine from the last race.

Sorry you and Tyler can't make it the track is a blast to run and is in great shape right now. We have been working on things all week and will also have our new scoring system going, as well as tq trophies for each class, and we are going to run a dash for cash at the end of the day.

Hope to see you there Gary. I would rather race rc than go bogging but that's just me

hey randy, with the liberal practice times you guys could just post on here when you plan to come up and play and I am sure someone will try and get over there to run for fun with you. If I can make it I would be greatful for any set up advice (hints) you might be able give
