hey guys i am going to be in the U.P this comming week monday around escanaba , tuesday around L'Anse and Wendsday around iron wood let me know if there any tracks around that i could go to, to get some laps in thanks

There is the track in Bark River but ppl. aren't allowed to practice on it unless it's an actual race weekend IIRC.

There will be some more races @ Bark River later this year.

Other than that there reall isn't any organized racing in the central U.P. that I know of.

yeah we are lackin a few tracks, there is a hobby shop in ishperming that has one someone over that way, i have yet to go there as i am just getting my up and running again, i know it costs 5 bucks to use the track, atleast that is what the guy there said...hope that helps a little, It is called J&M hobbies

as red neck and offroad crazy this area seem, and everyone thinking they are a nascar driver(escanaba race track) im very suprised at how lacking this stuff all is. Just moved to escanaba myself

i know right i was hoping that escanaba had a track and all but i was sad to find out that was none i stopped at j and m and the guy said that every one used to race but since the mine went to full speed and nobody has time now all they do is bash so lol i dont know anymore

If you are interested there will be some off-road R/C racing in Bark River this saturday @ the full-size off-road track.

There is a thread in the Wisconsin forum with all the info you'll need if you are interested.

If you want to do some indoor racing we do In Saint Ignace MI
We run at the local School once a month Our first indoor race of the year is Oct 17th
We run Carpet Oval with all types of vehicles
