HPI Racing and Proving Grounds
Posted Fri, 10/02/2009 - 10:38 by REVO

Hi everyone, we figured it was time to share a little bit of what we are doing "behind the scenes" at Proving Grounds. As of yesterday, we have a deal in place with HPI / Hot Bodies. Proving Grounds and HPI / Hot Bodies have agreed upon a collaboration between the two companies to help grow interest in the RC hobby with new racers.

Some of the details behind this collaboration are HPI / Hot Bodies will be supplying Proving Grounds with RC vehicles for use at the track. In return Proving Grounds has agreed that we will offer the use of these RC vehicles to new racers and anyone who has never driven an RC before, FREE OF CHARGE. So what this means is, it allows someone new to walk in the door at Proving Grounds and we can hand them a controller and an RC and let them go out on the track and run some laps for free. No risks, only reward for anyone new who wants to check things out. We will have cards to hand out with 3 free visits for new racers, and the best part is, all they have to do now is show up, we will supply them with everything they need to race! And you can rest assured, we will be maintaining these RC's to our own high standards. Just because its free does not mean its going to be worn out.

Proving Grounds will also be stocking HPI / Hot Bodies parts in the hobby shop. The selection of parts will grow over time. Also HPI / Hot Bodies will be promoting Proving Grounds on their web site which gets over 1 million hits per month! Proving Grounds will not just be your local track, it will soon be getting national attention.

So don't be surprised when you stop in to Proving Grounds soon and see HPI / Hot Bodies banners and products! We look forward to working with HPI / Hot Bodies in the years to come. I am sure you will see many other collaborations between us down the road.

Default Looks Great!

That looks great guys/gals. Now I wish I was back in MI. Love racing indoor off road all winter. Used to do that at Robbys Hobbies back in the day. And great props for the HPI/HB deal. I just switched to the HB stuff great stuff.

Good Luck, If I can make back to MI I will make it a point to come check this place out

The lanes are 12ft wide and the pit area is in its own room that will sit around 120 racers with everything. It will have 5 42 inch air movers for the nitro days which will suck you right out of the building
