Vintage Class racing
For the fast growing segment of the population , Reo Raceway has started a Vintage Class of racers on the indoor dirt oval , which is growing in numbers , like 18 Slash racers , plus 5 in the Vintage class , last night .
Reo Raceway has started a Vintage Racing class which is for the over 50 year old drivers .
Last night the 15th , was the second week of running this additional class ,
So now for all of the younger drivers , you can now invite your fathers and grandfathers to come enjoy racing , and they can enjoy racing their own age group .
The number of retirees , is a fast growing segment of the population , and now Reo is offering compitition for this group .
The Wednesday night indoor dirt oval is , for everyone , and is growing in the numbers of drivers , and even the Vintage class had 5 drivers last night .
Spread the word and the joy of rc racing to everyone

Jay has switched the oval to fridays at 7pm as well. He's doing a test to
see what the racers like better. Some people still like WED nights at 6pm.
September 5th there is a big outdoor race planned as well.
A local pizza chain has sponsored this race.
Classes include 1/8 buggy, 1/8 Truggy, and slash

We are running B44's at Reo this weekend.
Me, Tim Hall, Wes A, JRudd, and Nickd and his dad
And a few have shown interest to make the 4-wheel mod class grow.
The website has all the details in the general section www.reoraceway.com
He has re-worked the track to make it friendly for 10th scale electric. 8th scale can still run on it Jube. The lanes are still wide enough for 1/8th scale.
Com-on and join us this Saturday!
Track opens at 10am, racing starts at 2PM.

My family will be moving to the Ft. Knox area soon. I look forward to traveling to Reo to race my SC10!!

Rest in Peace Ernie Parker
The rc family has lost one of their own. Ernie Parker passed away last night, all to soon. He was truely a great man and he will be missed. He had a contagious smile and always made you laugh. Please keep his family and friends in your thoughts and prayers. Adrian our hearts go out to you!
