Hmm, we do the penalty thing on nitro day but we also don't have the problem of several guys running multiple classes. I'll say for most of us involved running the electric program is a bit different than running the nitro program. Setting the race order I'm sure has a lot to do with it since I have been there on a sunday yet I'm guessing the electric is popping up in a certain order and that should be changed to see where guys are running multiple classes. I'm thinking it might just take a few outings for the guys to figure out who runs what and when the initial heat setup pops up to be able to change things real quick on the fly. I'm pretty familiar with who runs what on nitro day and what guys run more than one class so when I set the heats I can run through it real quick and make sure there's no marshalling conflicts. If I can make it this sunday I will surely take a look and see if we can gain some time there and I know Steve will look at it.

Hey Jet, Thanks for your consideration. Im not sure if I know you, but it sounds like you are an operator. I think you will find a happier crowd in the end. Most of them anyways. Just speaking from experience. That was one of my downfalls at the Planet. I should have concentrated on different announcers and a tighter program. Im not ashamed to admit my mistakes and definately not afraid to share my experiences to possibly benefit someone who is trying to succeed. Good luck, if you need anything dont hesitate to ask. Hindsight is 20/20 if you know what I mean!!

mooney, I usually help run the show and run a tighter ship. I have been leaving my nitro car in the bag and acting a Race director only on Saturday nights so I chose to race ( break the hell out of a 4wd I mean) Sunday and left Mark to his own devices, he has ZERO electric racing knowledge so I felt like he did a fair job. Next week if my soon to be Babymama ( due 2-20-09) doesn't have an aneurism about me racing both days, I will help more with the show and try to get him up to speed on the ways of electric.

This new layout will have no gimmick features. No vert wall, better jumps for the " little Fragile cars" LOL and it will have a Straight away for the 2wd big wheelies!!! youtube videos should be up by Friday with any luck!!

See everyone soon,
~Christian

+1 Matt, you are the MAN!! The site looks good.

There will be 1 big AZZ jump in this new layout but it has been there all along and you ave been rolling it so I think we will be ok. ( the elevation change is staying with a different entry and exit point!) Unfortunately I don't follow my own words and I have ordered many more parts for my zx5 as I plan on launching it frequently!!!

Default HCRC article in Hendricks County ICON magazine!

The new Hendricks County ICON magazine is out. January 2009 edition. It is mailed to every address in 46123 (Avon), 46112 (Brownsburg) and 46128 (Plainfield).

There is a nice article in there about the HCRC track!

This should get some spectators out for sure, which might become newbies, which then might become hardcore racers!

Scott

The points series sounds cool, wish I could make it every weekend......after seeing the rules and extra cost. I'll pass.

Default Points= robbery

"from the HCRC points series info"

(No one will be able to run in any series races without paying the $5.00.)

This is ridiculas, so for the next 8 weeks your tellin me I have to pay an extra 5$ (per class) just to race. ? $@#K_O%%

You could have at least made it an option to "buy in"...

Dont look like youll be seein much of me there..

Ya know... now half you Indy guys can come down to Linton / HHR and race, hell it will cost ya the same either way and you dont have to bring yer own pit table or feel secluded from every one
