Lali Warehouse

Hi, I think it would be a good idea to create a thread specifically for this club, so that members and first time visitors can share their experiences as well as help each other and talk about rc, anyway in about 3-4weeks I will be coming from Sydney Australia and bring my RB6 to have some rc action in hong kong, for the people who have driven here, what is the best Front and Rear tyre combination for 2wd mod?

Hi, I will race in Lali warehouse soon and would like to know what kind of tires I should buy for 1/10th scale 4x2 and 4x4. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

I am still in Hong Kong, I went there 2 days earlier, I was kindly lent someones Tekno SCT410, the track is quite high grip so I think if you use tires like proline calibres or holeshots, suburbs should also work. As for directions there, if you are heading their from Lau Fau Shan Rd, get the second exit on the round about to Deep bay road, you will get there eventually, the warehouse should stand out because it has quite a few cars parked outside compared to others which have heavy duty trucks

Sorry, I posted assuming you had already looked at the map and got the address of the Facebook page, the address is:
Deep Bay Rd, Lau Fau Shan, Hong Kong
They don't provide a building number so on my post above I have described as best as I could, just search it on google maps and you will understand

Hi All,
I've received several PM's for information regarding how to get to Lali warehouse. I get out to the track every few months when visiting HK for work, and have the route down pretty good. Here is what I recently sent Tasmaniac:
Directions to get to the track via train/bus
You want the west rail line heading out of the Kowloon area. it crosses most/all MTR lines. once you get to the Mei Foo station, you're on your way. the MTR stop is called Tin Shui Wai. From downtown the cost is around $27HK. from there, you need to take a short 10min bus ride up to Lau Fau Shan, its a roundabout just a few min from the track. you can take mini bus #'s 33, 34 or 35, but the best bus is K65, which is a double decker. buses are $1-2HK per trip. the bus stop is just outside the MTR station, I think exit B? you hop on the bus heading SW direction. its a loop bus, so you can probably ride either direction.
once at the roundabout, hop off the bus, and just walk up the paved road to the north west. it splits after about a hundred meters, take the road to the right. after another several hundred meters and you're there (track building is on the right).
The locals don't post a lot of information about the track because most of them use rc-evo.com. they post all of their track updates, hours, and race information there.
Its a great track and facility, always a blast to get up there and put in some laps.

What kind of tires do you use ? It looks pretty dusty...

Is the location equipped with air conditioned ? Currently with the very hot weather in HK, it must be impossible to stay there if not....

Are there any big race planned in the near future? I would be keen to fly over from Singapore.
