Dear all,

i'm going for a trip to Hong Kong soon. I used to play 1/10th EP RC drift but had since quit due to some personal reason. I would like to pick up the hobby again and i understand that Hong Kong is 1 of the best place to get a good deal. I would need the whole set as i'm starting from scratch. i have some questions in mind and hope you guys can help me out.

1. is it true that if i ask the price the project and leave without buying i will get scolding from the shop owner/ keeper? if that's the case, how do i ensure i get the best deal since i can't compare prices?

2. where can i get the best price for the following items:

• motor/ esc or brushless set
• lipo charger and battery
• servo
• decent transmitter and reciever
• accessories (190/200mm shells, rims, tyre, took kit)
• 1/10th kit (prefer pro kit with carbon fibre chassis eg. TRF 417 & etc)

3. is it advisable to buy every item from the same shop?

they are at Yaumatei station A2 Exit. very close to MTR exit, search up "waigohobby"on google, all info there, their web is in english. i think they are like the largest shop in hk.. they got almost every item.. i always join their local race

and i think they got some TRF kits/stuff on huge discount last week.. i duno now, but yea, check it out, goodluck
