1:10th Offroad in Hong Kong?
Hey guys, I know this has been asked before, but appears all the threads on the topic are dead.
Is there a 1:10th offroad track in HK with any organised racing?
Thanks!
P.

Its in Lau Fau Shan, the outskits of Tin Shui Wai. If your not local your best bet is to catch a train to Tin Shui Wai and then a taxi to the track. Print this off it will help. Its at the end of an un-named road. The driver should recognise the Sign in the midle of the junction.
Track has good facilities, pits are a little small but hey, everything is small in Hong Kong. Membership is free, a day of practice/open track is $150HKD. Race events a little more but I don't have much info about that at the moment.
Track is in good condition, indoor clay. Most popular choice is 1/8th EP buggy, also a few Nitro 1/8th and 1/10th buggy and SCT.
PM me if your ever in HK, I may be heading out at the time, usualy a saturday arvo or a sunday morning.

Thanks a lot!!! Much appreciated. I'm in HK a few times every month and I usually have plenty of time available. I'll bring my Ebuggy next trip.
A few more questions.
Tires? I run soft compound bar tires at home (gold barcodes for indoor clay). Sounds like those will work unless you have a different suggestion.
Do you know the hours? Or have a phone number perhaps?
Thanks again.

To give all of you further info, that track is called Lali Warehouse. It just started business in May 2012. It currently does not have a website. They change their hours of operation every-now-and-then.
However currently, they are closed on Mons & Tues. Open on Wed to Sun, with Sat only open for electric buggies. (Other times is both nitro and electric) Their day pass varies depending on the day of the week and hours etc... the prices varies from $120 to $180.
in youtube, you can search for 'lali warehouse' for videos
I live locally in HK, so if there is any more info you guys need, just post it here or PM me.

Travelling to Hong Kong
I will be traveling to China this next month. I race for team associated, reedy, and lrp here in the states, and will be going to Guangzhou, and plan on going to Hong Kong as well. I was wondering if there is a track for 1/10th scale offroad or any tracks near Guangzhou? What would be the closest tack in Hong Kong to Guangzhou.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Most locals play 1/8 electric or nitro at Lali Warehouse. 1/10 scale is also welcome (I play 1/10). In fact, the track scales for 1/10 better than 1/8.
This is basically the only offroad track in HK. The location is about 20 mins from the border of HK and Shenzhen, China.
Guangzhou, China is about 2 hours train ride to/from Hong Kong.

If you want to be really cheeky you could contact Team C. They most likely have a decent track at their factory.
I live in Guangzhou. Is there anything else you want to see here?

Hi guys. re: Lali Warehouse, i found this page on FB with a bit of info, looks like its pretty recent too. The only thing it seems to be missing is a possible contact number and/or email to get in touch with the owners/managers.
If anyone has those details maybe send the page admin the info?? Or better yet, let the Lali Warehouse owners/management know they got a big fan out there lol!!
idk... seems like more people need to know about this awesome facility
Anyways, Heres the url: facebook.com/pages/Lali-Warehouse-Indoor-Off-Road-Track/220017864794598
