Default Shops in Hong Kong

Hi guys,

I'm going to Hong Kong this October and want to pick up a lot of stuff there. I'm staying at the Intercontinental (not sure which one, there are 2) and will be with a native speaker.

What shops are nearby that are reputable and carry lots of different brands (Tekin, Ezrun, Tamiya etc.)?

Jacob

Oct is a trade show season in HK and CHina.

In K.W.S, over 10 hobby shops in the street level, and few more inside the mall, i am sure you will find tekin.
Otherwise, check out RC market on the 1st floor

Thank you. Are the trade shows open to anyone or do you need to have an invite?

Just take a taxi, only 10 to 15mins. a Coffee at the peninsular will cost you more than a return taxi trip

Most of the trade shows in Oct just need your business card.

I live in HK and yes, Kwong Wah Street (KWS) has the most RC shops in HK. (About 10 shops in all). Its better to go on a weeknight since some shops will close on Sundays.

KWS is very close to the Peninsula hotel... but its better to take the Taxi anyway.

At KWS, you will find lots of 'Chin/local brands' like hobbywing/ezrun, team powers, team wave etc... of course there are international brands like novak, LRP etc...

The mainstream RC in HK is EP & GP 1/10 touring, while other like monster trucks, 1/8, 1/12, bikes are more rare. shops may need time to order the stuff for you. Good luck.

What kind of stuff are u loking for... maybe i can pin point you a shop or two.

I'm looking for:

2x Ezrun 150A ESC Sensored
2.5R Ezrun 1/10 Motor Sensored
Mamba Max
UBEC
Maybe a Futaba Radio (3PK) and Futaba 3-Channel 2.4GHz FASST Tx/Rx Module 3PK

Might be more stuff later on, Jacob
