BTW, I started the 2nd cycle on the HVs, the results amazed me. the cells now peak at ~1.56v, IR remain the same, runtime increased by ~10sec, and ave volt is now 1.172v!!! This is the best volt you can get from Trinity Team SMH cells! I think the 1st cycle show lower numbers is because its the first cycle after zapping.
1.172v with 10 sec increase...... wheres my Xapper!!!

Actually I almost never do that. And I don't have an equalizer which is good for nimh I am lazy enough Somehow my race packs still don't disappoint me even I treat them like this

Mars- have you run your HVs yet. I'm getting some inconsistent results. Last night, the first run was punchy for 5 minutes then soft. The second run was punchy for 4 minutes then soft!! Also, the car was not immediately punchy when you pull the throttle, there was like a millisecond delay, then the 'turbo' kicked in. This was really weird!!! I compared it to the SMH and I still like the SMHs better!!

Checked the battery temp after a run, both HVs and SMH were a consistent 63 deg C. (I think the scale was on C)... but anyway.....the same!

dtm: I haven't run them yet. I went to Kai Tak last night and met fai. He had tried both HV and SMH, all brand new cells. He said the 2nd run last night was really good for both kind of cells. I hope I can try my cells soon
