I may move the steering servo at an outter position to make the car more balance. That's why there are so many holes on the chassis !!
Unbalance but nice job indeed.

I just got rid of my old YM which has been with me for 2 years.

talking about unbalanced, the YM34 type T is also unbalanced too but I find no problem on driving and no pulling to one side on acceleration. I saw the Atlas team driver last November with his Type T and he postioned his steering servo on an outter position on the chassis. he said this is to avoid interference with the belt but I dont think this is the case but to make the chassis more balance.

Thanks for the warm welcomes!
Yeah... I was trying to avoid the snobs. Consider my skill level.
I've owned several cars while I was in US, but never really raced any, so.... the last thing I want is to be intimidated by snobs.

Don't have a car yet, except a Mini-Z. I need to find a job here first before I have money. Haven't decided on EP or GP though. In the mean time, I will probably visit PYC and watch.

I think I saw the PYC track while riding the train to/from China.

Anyway, nice knowing you guys here.

If so, why didn't you consider his way of putting the servo? BTW, the battery slot of type T is very close to the centre line. Is your XRay modified in the same way?

Don't worry...we don't enter any races......WE decide when we want to run.....not the race directors!!!!!

The flavour of the month is GP!!!!!! at the end of the day I'm sure you will end up with both types of cars!!!

You are always welcome at PYC!!!!!! although without a car......you may get bored pretty quickly!!!

We are trying to start an EP tournment......the rules are;

1. You must buy a Second Hand EP car (no new cars!!) which is ODD (not conventional layout!).
2. We run the cars together to see who is fastest, slower etc....
3. After running a set number of rounds everyone has to swap cars ie. fastest driver gets slowest car etc!
4. Then we run again!!

We keep doing this until we find the best 'ODD' car fit for each driver!!

Of course this is cannot be done over one day...but several weekends.

So far KY has his 'seven elevan!!' I have my CE4....Mr Dick is considering getting a SH KX1......hehe....anyone else want to join???!!
