Graphite is not good at conducting electricity otherwise it will not burn. a good conductor will not heat up itself but the batteries. It is about internal resistant of the material. i.e. graphite is a conductor but has high internal resistant.

Don't bother if you're sleepy
Once you have set the tweak then you can use a permenant marker pen to make a mark on the adjuster rings. By counting the no. of revolutions you can adjust the cars springs and know that you have not upset the tweak....... otherwise it is very difficult to know exactly how much you have turned each adjuster ring! When you need to reset the tweak then thinners will get rid of the mark!

M5: i think what dtm is trying to say is that on the threaded shocks, after tweaking the car, you could use a permenant to mark how many turn you you turned on the adjuster ring...

dtm...i think you really need to go to bed...hehe!!
