I'm not sure if I should take that as a compliment or not....... I will run into your GP HARDER next time!!!!!!

I changed crystals, then I changed recievers, then I changed reciever batteries, then I changed fail safe, then I changed servo!!!!! I think I have a new set of electronics on the RR already!!!

My PCM reciever has come back from repair so I think I will put this on the RR. Have to rip out the electronics AGAIN!!!! This is getting boring!!!

I found a very disturbing thing on my OS last night. The upper bearing of the conrod appears to have some play!!!! It is not on the upper conrod bearing, but the actual wrist pin in the piston hole!!!!

I didn't really look at this from new, so I don't know if it was there all along!!! Anyway, I better find a source for a new piston.... just in case!!!!! At least the piston is the same as the CV-R so there may be some available!!!!!!!!!!

The compression is still good, but this brings a BIG question mark over the engine!!

is the wear at the wrist pin or the piston itself? most likely the wear at the piston as the wrist pin is much harder. that's why kawahara mod the piston so that fuel will be guided into the wrist pin area.

I haven't taken it apart yet... but it feels like the piston!!!!

hmm... they appear to have taken the pics off the kawa site!!! The oil slit at the wrist pin hole of the piston is std on the TR..... I think that is what you are talking about!!
