Manticore- I found out this week that Xray has changed the shape of the rear shock plate on the second batch cars! Found this out when I tried to double up the plates! This is really sneaky of them!

Looking at the picture..... it reminded me of one question I had.

On the rear suspension turnbuckle, the optional "bridge" allows the inner pivot points of the rear suspension arm and the rear turnbuckle to be "in line". The rear turnbuckle can effectively be "longer" than on the original car.

My question is...... as I understand.... longer rear turnbuckle = more stability?!!(correct???!)

However, if you work out the geometry, with longer turnbuckles the change in camber as the suspension is compressed is actually less. If you have less change in -ve camber during suspension travel, will this not make the rear end LESS stable.... hmmm I think I'm begining to confuse myself as to what a longer turnbuckle will do! Anyone help?

999: You know, although I'm a pro3 racer, I don't suggest you buying this car!!! I must claim that once you get this car, you'll then get lots of options parts in order to make it competitive. At least you must have the one-ways if you want to be a "fast corner" runner!! These will then cost you $500...

I think it costs $960 in Mong Kok.

Dtm: I copied this from Xray set-up book:

Longer link = more traction and less stability.
Shorter link = less traction and greater stability.

not at all, the insider of xray told me that the single belt doesnt work as efficient as the dual belt. single belt is just a fashion.
