Ok Ok... I get into RC coz I'm influenced by my big brother. It's not difficult to start EP ourselves. But for GP, we were taught by some new friends "from the street". Once we knew how to start an engine and keep it in idle state... everything go simple then...

Remember our first EP was Tamiya grasshopper ($180) ... first 'stick' control was JR Beat2 ($400) ... first 1200mAh Tamiya battery pack... 'super' slow charger (12 to 14 hrs)...

Manticore- I have it..... I have it..... kawa straight shaft.... way overpriced for a lump of metal but what the hell!!!!

I also saw the Five Star one but it looked a little strange (too heavy... I think!) has anyone compared this?

Also, did not find any OS TRs.... so I can forget that idea!!!!

five star? are you sure it is a solid axle?

You can get OS TR from cityhobby. I have one on my hand today and it seems craftmanship is good but dont really know what does it perform.
