Manticore: I'm running 4mm downstops in the rear if I limit it to 7mm the rear springs would still be at 0 preload but would this reduce my off-power steering? This is one thing I can't quite get!!! extending the downstops beyond 0 spring preload (thats what I running now)

limit rear droop is another way to take away rear traction but this will make the car tend to spin at corners.

SV10s number one FAN (Jong Sau Lo) tells me they have pushed the batteries forward so the ESC is mounted behind the batteries. i haven't seen the car yet!

well...me personally....i like jap cars...not really interested in american ones...if there is a good yokomo or tamiya off-road...i might get it...besides....i only heard of on-road tracks...never heard of a offroad track in HK!! so...if there is more off-road tracks...then i think more ppl would be interested!

Yes I sure do to certain extends, but I enjoy living in Socal, Weather is wonderfully good, hardly rain, and I could drive to pretty much anywhere I want. 3 hours East then I am in Vegas, 30 minutes west I could hit the beach...............

But I will make sure to make a vacation to H.K. and my MTX2 comes with me too! but I will need to borrow your Starter box, and fuel! and probably need to bring shxx load of cash to buy some hop up parts!

I installed the old GMV12 on my YM34 with a 10,000uf 10V cap. I found that the radio response on steering servo is a bit too slow near the end of the batt. A feel of loss control. I do not have such experience on CycloneTC and V12 before, it is similar to the Tekin ESC. Will adding a small cap on the rx side solve the problem ???

My car was set to very limited rear down drop. It spinned at rear a little bit (very little) at some tight turns at PYC but I can get rid of this characteristic by giving a little throttle. It reduced the weight shifted towards the front when fxcking into the corner.

BTW, thanks for sharing with us the setup tips for the YM34. It really reacted very promptly for every change especially the ackerman. Now it ran very well. My current problems are the batteries and motor - the usual $$ sucking problems of EP.
