Manticore: Thks for the tip on the centre one-way.... with the amount of friction on the belts I think it will come in very useful!

How was the Type T testing? Did you managed to breath any new life into your Powers pack?

I had a horrid time Sat. I really struggled with off-power and on-power steering (lack of) and the car kept on flipping on its roof everytime someone touched me or I touched anything else! Ended up with a very frustrating day/night!
I even set the front caster blocks/A-arms to that crazy fully tilted forward position and still could not lose enough grip from the rear! I will go back to the setting I was running a couple of months back and start from there again!

centre one-way for which car?

The type T was doing great after I changed to 28R tire. I started with the kit tire and it was ok in day time but soon after sun down the car was just like ice skating.

The power cells back to normal on the second run and very punchy even with a 3 years old 10T motor.

You should fight with chassis roll rather then rear traction ! you had not put on sway bar last night?

ernestf: beware the wear on the outdrive, some people who ran this buggy few years ago has reported fast wear on the outdrive and they can hardly get replacement parts.
