I "fried" my Mini Z tonight! Smoke was coming out of it! The strange thing was that the switch on the car was set to OFF at the time! The car still goes... but the range is about 2 feet! I must have fried the reciever circuit only! Anyone good at fixing electronics?

Good for you ! you can buy new car again ! as far as i understand, it cannot be repaired ! i think you have short circuit

Guys,
Finished building my micro Rs4 and painted the M3 body
Just a word of warning. careful when you wan to change the track on this car. The wheels are very tight when installed! I broke spoke on my BBS rims trying to remove the rear wheel manage to AA glue it back together
It also feels as though you can pull the rear axle apart by doing so

On my 2400 I used MAX volts.... just to see.... I was going to throw the pack away anyway!
30V to 40V on my old Sanyo 3000. no time to charge them up yet so I don't know they are dead or not

Also I've found a clicking noise from the rear diff after this when I run the car. Trouble shooting it now

Ahh..... so it was just Mr Dick's 3000s which are dodgy! The suns out today (for now anyway!)......what do you reckon...Mr decision maker?
