Default STS engines in HK

Hello guys!!

Newbie signing in here!

I am looking for a engine on a pretty tight budget, probably within $1.5K max with all the pipes.

I've been reading about the STS engines and they seem to be pretty good bang for the buck.

I was just wondering if anyone has tried the STS series of engines (D3, D5, RS5)?

Besides Harmony in KWS, where else can I get STS engines?

Cheers~

Why would you want to go anywhere else??? Harmony is a good place..... you can also get the HEC pipe and manifold very cheap at the same time

I've seen the D5 and D3 run...they can keep up with the Novas no problem.......

dtm > Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with Harmony, just that I wanted to see more STS engines as Harmony told me that they only have the D5.

I'm planning to buy HEC pipes too...or maybe I'll take the bite and buy a H.A.R.D. Sharks pipe....

Still deciding on engines......choices choices choices....

BTW...anyone know where I can get information (SPECS) on Carlsen Engines on the net??

Cheers~

Stick with the HEC pipe it is basically a copy of a Nova pipe (can't remember the number). It is a very balanced pipe...more so than the shark one.........

Wandered KWS yesterday and realised that FF02 is the recent heat. Marketing of Tamiya is amazing.

As far as I know...it started off as just a group of friends getting together to "oppose" the Waigo empire!!!!
