• Thanks to all your support, we will be having a very full program for the two days of racing. Please be punctual and early. Your early ARRIVAL BEFORE 8:00 AM would be most appreciated.
• Radio impound would start at 8:00 am sharp. Radio impound boxes are laid out on the driver stand. Please place them into the appropriate box.
QUALIFYING SYSTEM
• We aim to take the BEST LAP AND TIME from 3 runs of Heats; 5~7 minutes in duration. In order to be prepared for inclement weather disrupting any of the runs, drivers need to be prepared that we may reduce the total number of runs.
• Main Finals shall be 35~60 minutes in duration. The varying duration here is to be prepared for inclement weather. All other Finals shall be 10~15 minutes in duration.
• All these are proposed times, actual times shall be posted on site.
• 8th Scale
o Finals shall be grouped into A, B & C Main Finals.
o With a maximum of 36 participants, there shall be 12 drivers in A, B & C Main Finals; Total Participants / Number of A Main finalists / Number of B Main finalists / Number of C Main finalists = 36/12/12/12.
o However if we have less than 36 participants, we will have 35/11/12/12 or 34/10/12/12 or 33/10/11/12 or 32/10/10/12 or 31/10/10/11 or 30/10/10/10 or 29/10/10/9 . . . 25/10/10/5 or 24/10/10/4 or 23/11/10/3 or 22/10/12 (no C Main) or 21/10/11 or 20/10/10 . . .etc.
• 10th Scale
o Finals shall be grouped into a Christmas Tree with each of the sub tree finals with 10 to 12 drivers depending on the total number of participants.
o The lowest sub tree final shall be 1/64 and the top three finishing position drivers shall be upgraded to compete in the next sub tree final.
o THERE SHALL BE NO SIT OUTS – all drivers shall be schedule to compete in a sub tree final, i.e. the top qualifier shall compete in the Semi A sub tree final.
o The lap and times of the top four (4) finishing positions from Semi A and Semi B sub tree finals shall be sorted for the top 8 qualifying positions in the Main Final.
o The 9th and 10th qualifying position in the Main Final shall be the best of the remaining 12 finalists from the Semi A and Semi B sub tree finals.
GENERAL HOUSEKEEPING INFORMATION
• Food & Drinks:
o The East Coast Park is largely a recreational area with no direct access to food and drinks.
o We will have our cleaner lady stock up her fridge with drinks. Please help us to support her efforts.
o As for food, we will have phone numbers ready for you to order from popular joints like MacDonald’s, Kentucky & Pizza Hut.
o We will arrange to sell lunch coupons between 9:00 am and 10:00 am on Saturday and Sunday and have the pre-packed lunch delivered around 1:00 pm.
• Electricity: There is NO PROVISION FOR AC ELECTRICAL POWER. Participants who needs to charge their RX and TX batteries are to make their own arrangements.
• In Singapore, LITTERING IS AN OFFENCE, by law. Similarly, SMOKING IS BANNED by law in all covered areas with or without air-conditioning.
• RADIO IMPOUND BINS for all heats shall be placed on the driver stand. Drivers are reminded to place their radios into the respective radio impound bins by the stipulated time. No radio transmitters are allowed anywhere else, except up in the driver stand.
• Drivers shall be issued with a DRIVER IDENTIFICATION TAG, please display it prominently for identification purposes. Other than race officials, no one else, without a Driver or Official identification tag shall be allowed access to the driver stand.
• SINGAPORE IS A TROPICAL COUNTRY; all drivers please take note and be prepared for it. On a best effort basis, we will try to have each run of heats completed under dry conditions. However, when we start off the Xmas tree finals, we will only stop the time table if the track surface is wet.
• Assuming that all goes as plan, we would have 3 RUNS FOR EACH HEAT.
• In the event we could not execute the finals due to inclement weather, the qualifying Heat sort will be used to rank all drivers.
o 8th Scale:
- The top qualifier shall be awarded the TQ trophy.
- The top three finalists in the A and or B and or C Main Finals shall be awarded the 1st, 2nd & 3rd prize trophy.
o 10th Scale:
- The top qualifier shall be awarded the TQ trophy.
- The rank based on the best lap and time sort for the Christmas tree finals shall be used to award trophies to the top 50 finalists.
• Each driver will be issued with a single number sticker for your Heats & Finals, please clean the surface of the RIGHT side wall of your body (bearing reference with the front of your car facing away from you) and attached the number sticker onto it. This is to ensure that when your car goes across the transponder pick-up coil, the Time Keeper and Race Director can verify your car number.
• Drivers using 2.4 GHz based DSS/DSM radios (Spektrum, FASST, Nomadio, etc.) and or AMB Personal Transponders please take note of your receiver battery condition. The AMB Computer Manager shall not be held responsible for any miss counting by the AMB Spark2 system.

GENERAL HOUSEKEEPING INFORMATION
• Food & Drinks:
o The East Coast Park is largely a recreational area with no direct access to food and drinks.

o As for food, we will have phone numbers ready for you to order from popular joints like MacDonald’s, Kentucky & Pizza Hut.
o We will arrange to sell lunch coupons between 9:00 am and 10:00 am on Saturday and Sunday and have the pre-packed lunch delivered around 1:00 pm.
• Electricity: There is NO PROVISION FOR AC ELECTRICAL POWER. Participants who needs to charge their RX and TX batteries are to make their own arrangements.

• Assuming that all goes as plan, we would have 3 RUNS FOR EACH HEAT.

I never had my 220mm early in the year.... you have been checking up on me dude

It going to be FEMCA or this... ..
How is the track condition over there compare to ACO?
#10

No la, i read about your outing in Japan. You were running 220mm in Japan right?
Track condition, i would say ACO is slighty better. Here in Singapore, we usually run 37s all round. Some drivers prefer 38 front 40 rear for the finals.
The 10th scale lap times are about fast 19s and 8th scale are slow 17s. That hopefully gives you a rough idea how big the track is.
Hope to see you manz.

I am running 1/8 scale and 220mm touring car, new toys!
They are so much fun because they carry so much more speed.
I bougth the Velox from Shepherd. Very good car
Come, come to the Picco cup . It is open race so you will see more international drivers and faster local drivers.
