Hi there, I am sure we met. I was at Bangkok too.
I have not tried the 720 at this track yet. I will do that next week.
Use the same setting at Bangkok , it works very well at our track but use 1 teeth bigger pinion and 1 teeth smaller spur.
Tire are the same as bangkok too, 38 front and 40 rear. Some guys use 35 / 37 but I think it will be too much traction for the race weekend

I dont run 1/8 so cannot help you on that.

thanks for the info... i'll try to recall back what setup i did in Bankok... i ran 710 last time at bangkok
i think will go for wider width will help the conering speed without traction roll

up 1 teeth for pinion is it for both or 2nd speed only?? wow that track must be very long straight, bigger pinion and smaller spur = long top speed
thanks again... see u there...

Last week we had a Open race. I was running NT1, best lap 22.8 sec.
You need to be that range to make the A main.
Bangkok is about 17.5 sec per lap so ACO is better.

Hi kitracer,
with all those top drivers from Asia, If i can get into the B main i'll be very very happy
have u test your 720 on the track yet?? any info to share?? whats the average time u get per tank?? i think 5 min will be tough to get...
saw the video already... really big track with smooth flowing corners, only few tight turns, i think will setup my car for more on throttle steering and gear ratio will be biggest pinion and smallest spur for 2nd, 1st gear will try medium first...
We will be there on 9th or 10 Jan to practice hope to see u there...
thanks,

ck

I finally tried the 720 after 10 months of idle and I can't believe myself. After 2 tanks and made few setting changes, I made better lap time than my NT1 under same condition !
You will need the 4mm lower chassis and brass front weight. But this may change since during the weekend, grip will be really high.

B main is very good. This is what I hope to get into
making 5 mins is not difficult, but you have to be good on throttle and keep good driving line.

I will be there 11th, I will come by your table and say hi.

CK, Have you book a hotel room yet? It will be the Hong Kong Toy fair exhibition during that week so you will be fighting against 150,000 visitors for hotel rooms!

I cannot really say whats good since I just tried few tanks. I used stock setting ( stock shock, droop, camber) plus the option parts ( LCG Chassis and Brass weight) and mid oneway but it was understeering compare to NT1. Then I went to 2degree toe in from 2.5 it was better. and then I switched from DNA body to 3.2 stratus that was Much better this is where I stopped. (I was testing engine as well and clutch soooooo too much in one day)

I got advise from Julius to try the new Steering Block since of smoother steering so I will try this week.

I only used 38 front and 40 rear.

My gearing for my engine Axial 17/22 & 60/55
I suggest Picco use lower gear ratio.
