A couple of friends and I just got into running some nitro cars. We are trying to get some others together to setup some tracks ad have some fun. We will be out in the corner of the Navy NEX Friday nights starting around 10pm. The parking lot is lit and very flat.

a while back, some of us went and played some electric cars there...in 15 minutes, security showed up and asked us to leave...

hopefully they dont do that with you guys...

I tried for a while to get permission from the management to hold an organized race there but they were unwilling to let us or even discuss it.

We have a couple of stadium trucks, on road cars, and monster trucks. They are all nitro but electrics are more than welcome too. All we want to do is get a group together and have a good time. We had security come up to us last weekend and we had no issues. He sat there for a couple of minutes and bullshitted with us and I raced him as he left the parking lot. R/C car 1, security car 0.

It died out pretty fast. Some guys got out of it and a few of us upgraded and started going to the sandbox on the weekends.
