That's ok The more cars on the track, and people in the pits...the more fun it is

I have been looking at different options for the ESC and motor combo for my new F1 and need some help. How do I know which ESC to get? What I mean is, ESCs have different amps, I think? For example: 40A, 50A, 60A,150A. What is the difference?

Also, some of the 21.5 brushless motors are for crawlers? Can I use these type of motors? Thanks for the help, I ask because I don't want to have to buy twice, and I need to learn this stuff.

Darn how did I miss this? Man things have been busy at work. Anyway that kinda depends on your budget. You already saw that other link so there's one for the budget minded. But if you think you may use the ESC in another car in the future you might want to get something a bit more versatile. The Tekin RS just keeps getting better and better with every software release. As for motor I'm not sure what the difference is between the crawler motors and the other 21.5's. I already had a 13.5 Novak Ballistic which is completely rebuild-able so I just bought the 21.5 stator for it.

One of these is plenty....... http://www.hobbypartz.com/98p-30c-40...se-direct.html

If you have some already, any 4000mah and above hard case lipo will be fine.

I believe crawler motors have a bigger rotors and may not be so good for a racing application.

I'm running a 3800mah in mine right now...and I could probably get 2 runs off of it Trick is finding one that will fit the HPI chassis as I think you will need one with rounded sides to fit.

Probably something like this:

I had an 3800mah orion rocket pack shaped like a 6cell nimh in my M05. Too bad I sold it a couple months ago. I think Sandy Flemings still has a couple rounded lipo packs. not too sure tho...

Championship race this weekend! Really looking forward to this

The trophies look great in the pics but believe me they look even better in person! Min Plastics polished the edges which really changes the look hugely. These look better than my IIC trophy
