^TBH, I wish I didn't answer that question. That was poorly thought out and hasty. The proper answer would be VERY difficult to type out and explain, and honestly very few people fully understand it. I strongly suggest you spend a lot of time researching that topic. It is extremely complex and not as clear cut left/right thing as it seems. The rough gist of it is that a lot of people perceive(and not without justification) the Palestinians to be oppressed by the Israelis. Seriously, life as a Palestinian isn't fun. The alphabet mafia, having long been victims of oppression, naturally empathise with the Palestinians. Which is all fine and dandy, except quite a lot of Palestinians are fairly devout Muslims for whom the alphabet mafia would be complete anathema to their way of life. Herein lies the paradox of the modern-day lefty.

See the issue is The Palestinian people freely elected Hamas so any hardship that they are going through is self-inflicted so while yes their life is hard it is due to the people they place in power to control their life, If Hamas actually care for its people they would spend the aid they get from other countries to actually improve the stand of living for its people but do they do that? Nope. So again it just makes me even more confused with the LGTBQ defending because it has no real logic I would have guessed they are more likely to defend Jewish people but I guess not. I assure you that there are lots of LGBTQ people who support Israel and/or a peaceful 2 state solution, probably a lot more than the Palestinian supporters. Like regular folk, they can be just as varied in opinion on this particular argument. Those that support Palestine are not necessarily invalid or wrong, they just empathise more with the oppression or for some reason disagree about Israel or advocate on other principles. Who knows?

Sir 51D3WAYS I told you how they got elected already there was a Palestinian presidential election in 2005 and Hamas got most of the votes 44 vs 41 so like I said the people freely elected for them it doesn't matter what they promised if their policy has never changed from the eradication of the Jews and the people still voted for them not to mention those same people cheer when they did a sneak attack on Israel. Now I personally stayed neutral on the whole Israel vs. Palestinian beef because I see issues with both sides but after this, I am firmly on the Israel side. As for not being invalid for supporting Palestine yea no anyone who supports people who voted for an organization that beheads babies is beyond words in the wrong in my book. Now I do believe you when you say there are probably LGBTQ people that support Israel I just never seen them in rallies.
