I'm out of town, but have a question. For these larger events, when does registration/practice start, and how late do things wrap up?

This event starts at 2:00. Practice will start at daybreak if you want and run till about 1:00. Then sign-ups will be over at 1:30 and the heats will be posted. We will have a drivers meeting about 1:45 and racing starts at 2. As for finish time, it depends on entries. We finished in Knoxville at the 1st series race about 10 I think. It will easily be 9-10 before finishing with the later start time. Hope this helps.

Thanks Brian. That helps a lot. I've had a DEX408 since last Fall that I tinker with and want to race it. But it's just really tough to commit to 10-12 hours for these bigger events. I'm hoping I can keep my eyes out for another local Friday evening event sometime soon.

I'm definitely open to suggestions. I used to be pretty heavily into RC 15-20 years back, but a lot has changed. I've only got about 10 packs through it. Stock setup seems pretty loose to me. The 2mm mod and a smaller rear sway helped a bit. Next I'm going to the 1degree rear hubs and silver series springs. If I could get the rear a little more planted under power, the rest of the buggy is great. Id love to hear your thoughts.

The nitro wing is the best thing for the rear of the car. I do not run the 2 mm mod nor the 1 degree hubs. I run 6 hole pistons with 35 losi oil front with the silver black springs rear 30 losi oil and silver black rear black. Shorten the camber links second hole up from the bottom. Start there and see how it feels.

Sorry to hijack the thread. We can take it offline if we we need to. I just went to a high downforce proline wing. I agree the stock piece is worthless. How about diff fluids, sways, etc? I'll try your suggestions and see how they feel.
