Default New to Racing

My name is Dave & I am very new to RC Racing, and very excited to become part of it. Unfortunately, I know little about it, other than I want to race. I have a couple of cars and a practice track beside my house for me and my son. I understand there is a race on Saturday at Loganville RC Speedway. I would like to come out and see the action and possibly make some friends who can help introduce me to the sport. Do you have any suggestions for me as a totally green newbie? Any input would be helpful. Thanks.

Hi dave, nobody was ignoring your post but you and I were the only ones that could see it until I approved your first post. Its a safty feature in the forum to help keep the spam content down.

That being said if your running electric the Turtle Trax trailer that Gene (team turtle) and myself (adam) can normaly be found in is a portable hobby shop and generaly we can help with any questions you have, but as a general rule just walk around til you see someone running a similar vehicle to yours and most people at loganville are more than happy to lend a helping hand. Its a fairly laid back just have fun track

Come on out I'm sure we can help you out. We have new people hear a good bit lately. What do you have to race? The biggest thing most people do not have is a Transponder (it counts laps) of there own to start with. We will be racing Saturday as long as the rain stays away. Check back on the post for updates.
