Battlefield on road July 16th roll call

I had a great time racing on Saturday. It was great seeing some old friends and to be running some on-road again. 6 VTA's, 5 F1's, 4 TC's and a couple of Minis made for some great racing all day. The track was hooked up for sure. Tires were squealing and traction was high... and grape!!! The surface is very smooth so tire wear was low. Layout was lots of fun with a good combination of sweeping turns and tight 180's. Laptimes were in the 13 - 17 second range depending on the class.
We were running Touring as an Open 17.5 class. It was lots of fun and I can't wait to do it again. Facility is nice. AC power, restrooms and plenty of pit space around the track to set up tents. It was well worth the drive up.
BTW Ryan - I ran some 13's in the final race for you and Dion.

BTW ryan he did a 13.9 on his last lap. Even with the rain delay you guys in touring were awsome to watch. We understand you had to leave early but we can't wait to see you back out there again. Hey LMR, would it be hard to send that wide angle pic you took? The paper may use it for next week. Thanks guys, that was some killer racing.
By the way Shaun. your track record may showup in the paper with the results. www.walkermessenger.com for next week.

That's a rough looking group in that first pic.
