I have a quick question. I have rebuilt a TMaxx from a wrecked pile that I bought off craigslist. Now that it is up and running the steering servo #2055
is very weak and almost unable to turn the front wheels. Is is best to just buy the new servo or will re placing the gears on the inside be just as good??

For a tmaxx i would say you will need something arouns 300oz of tourge but you can get by with one around 200oz but the one got is the stock one i am not sure of the ratings of it.

HiTech 645MG is a really good affordable servo for the tmaxx.

The Hitec servo mokey mentioned will work well for you, as will the #2075 traxxas servo.

Cool thanks man...Yeah the stock servo is the Traxxas #2055. I am looking at all options b/c it is going to be a hard yard basher .

I just changed out my servo for a Traxxas 2075. It makes a huge difference in my BL Rustler.

Make sure to get a servo with metal gears. It will take more abuse from bashing a monster truck.
