The secret to that is when you see the patrolman in the median just pull over and say. "Are you the reason everyone is flashing their lights all the time?" Then he will go away and find another spot.

*** NOTE: So, if we do not use traction compound as our karts never require it, what will be the fee for practice nights so I can relay/tell some of our other kart drivers/racers? Is running our TERC electric karts permissable on this track. We do run around 20-30 mph pending on type of class the driver is in and we also use foam tires.***

I understand some classes may not require traction compound but your competitors may feel otherwise. Practice is $10 without membership. I will post the benefits of membership shortly. We are offering the special practices to get the track seasoned, as it is green presently.

No, We understand about the fees, as we have serveral rc karts tracks in various states where we to hold events/races ourselves. I understand about the cost and it being green so to speak. 10.00 dollars is actually what we charge for a day of practicing. So the price is way fair in our eyes. We wish you great luck and I and other kart racers in the area will make it out once I get back. You actually have serveral kart racers in your area already and probably didn't realize it. From 30 plus in Valdosta area to 8 plus up in Layafette GA. Needless to say all the others hours away like myself.

What compound tire would you suggest to get for a CRC Carpet Knife on the ozite carpet?

I recommend starting with a soft compound & switching to harder compound as the traction comes around on the track.

synap2012....This carpet is the best around TRUST ME...Same as Snowbirds and SXT traction compound is just as good as the black can Paragon....Depending on the class you run here are the tires you will be using.

Rear : Yellow / Pink / Grey maybe magenta but that is more for mod.

Front : Pink / Double Pink /Black /Lilac

Jaco rims are White and Parma are Black...

Hope this helps and I'm sure they will carry all....
