Been getting some advice on tires. Has anyone ever tried any of following tires. JC Dirt Webs, AKA Handlebars or Panther Ratlers.

Not tried on ebuggy, but LTD Handlebars have been great for me in and the Dirt Webs work well once worn. I prefer the AKA's as they work pretty well 2wd and 4wd even before they wear to slicks.

Ok Guys, it's Feb 16th Hot Shot RC Raceway is going to do away with the dust coming off the track, when running the track dry. If you have raced any of the past three Weds nights we have been keeping the track wetter than normal,
I'm trying to get a handle on how much water is needed to get the dust down but keep the track times fast.

I think I have it down pretty good, after the race Weds night I will have to water the edges and lightly on the groove, Thursday night I will do the same except a little heavier, Friday night same as Thursday night, I don't race Sat so the track will be drier Sunday more than any other day of racing or practice.

It seems like when Hot Shots open at 12 noon the track needs a harder compound tire (the track is still a little wet), by 4pm you can use either the hard compound or start moving toward a softer compound (top layer of track is getting drier). My plan is to have the track ready to race at 7pm an the track be good to go with more soft compound than hard, an by the 2nd qual just softer compound the rest of the night.
I don't plan to spray the edges during the race but I will if the dust starts kicking up.

I hope this helps come on out Weds and try out the track it is a lot of fun, you will still have plenty of traction.
I have got a lot of calls from racers that say they are coming out Weds, we usually have 35 to 40 racers every Weds, lots if 2wd and tons of 4wd, if you bring it we'll throw it down.

I'm in Carl. Part of off-road is finding what works! It's great to have a place to go to period. We all have to race what's given to us.
Thanks man!

How much they running? Been thinking about picking up a couple more 2-wires if I can get them cheap enough. I don't really need more than two but sick of having to swap them out of my 1/8 scales every week (have to take off Rx box on Teknos) and might run a third class now and then.
