Just to get the creative juices flowing...what y'all think about option a and b for a layout change at hotshots? First is existing to show that we are trying to make big changes to the feel of the track without having to move lots of dirt.

Looking awesome man!! And for real, awesome creative juices you've got going there, Dusty!

Crossovers just don't work well though, man... On paper, they're badass, but in reality, they're nothing but trouble, and can really be a marshaling nightmare.

Do you plan a bridge or jump over? I'm all for it but understand that will really create chaos with the novice class.

I agree. I have always been against crossovers. My opinion does not count for much since I only race there once every 3-4 months.

Looks good, But think about the Novice, may not be a big deal. But dots... I don't like. You don't see a track anywhere with dots in it.

They are not dots. They are moguls. Made from dirt, they can be quite interesting. Dots can be used to test placement of the moguls before you put in the dirt. The best option for moguls is to just put them out randomly.

They are definitely dirt moguls...here is an option without the cross over.

What difference does it make if they are on other tracks? Why do we want to always be the same? In either case, we all will be racing on the same surface ...different can be fun. I heard several people comment on the metal dots hat really liked them.

I'm letting Carl make the calls. I'm guessing it will be 2-3 weeks away

I think moguls are cool if done kind of like they were on the first full layout or like they are currently at loganville. Where they are higher on the outside and lower in the middle so it gives you 3 lines to get though. Either doubling on the outside or taking the inside like whoops.

The most tricky part of an indoor layout is going to be marshal positions. Trying to find a good place for them to be without blocking the view.
