The Flight Box hobby shop?
It was owned by a guy and his mom. They had a really small track in the back of their place, I raced on when I was around 16 ( so 14 years ago ).
Their were some cool cats that ran there, just wondering if anyone knew them.
It was located on Rockmart hwy going towards Rockmart.

At that time I don't think so, I do remember it being in front of a junk yard though.
The guy was really heavy into street bikes ( crotch rockets ).
I remember that is the same time the Losi XXX came out....and Brain Kinwald was the big thing off-road for Losi in 10th scale.

O man!I had the chance to run there a few times.I would drive out on saturday mornings and run my rc10gt till lunch and then come back home to get my dirt track car ready to race for that night.I dont remember any of the guys names, but the people that i met were a great bunch of guys!
I never will forget when the owner of the track cased a jump and broke the chassis of his losi buggy trying to keep up with me.That was the only rc track I have ever ran on.I dont make it up that way very often but every time i pass that building I smile and think about the fun i had in the few times I ran there!
If any of you were there on saturday mornings and remember a guy that drove a blue mustang with a red and blue rc10gt,That was me!

Thank you metalsoft for bringing a smile to my face!

I remember the place. I never got see it open either. We took a road trip up there one Saturday. Wish I had gotten pictures of the track but I did get some of the parking lot and the sign.

Yep remember the place well. Thats where I started racing at. No drivers stand, no lap counter, we just stood on the hill and ran. Rocky doesnt even come close to describing it I broke a chassis on a losi xx from a rock sticking out of the ground that we didnt see. Thanks to a rain out I found Daltons old indoor track started my first organized racing. That old place is about 5 miles from where our outdoor track is now.

Guy that owned that place was Leslie duke. He designed some better ballistics gel and a few other things. He's still playing with rc stuff, crotch rockets, and got some other cool toys that probably needs to be kept on the dL. I still see him running around at times.
