I started to ask why nobody invited me, but after seeing the picture I have had second thoughts. It looks like you guys froze your butts off.

It had to hit at least 70 out there saturday! You couldnt have asked for a better day!

I just got a xxx-cr yesterday, and I'm currently trying to decide upon a good motor/esc combo. It's hard because I've been out of it for so long that I don't know what's good anymore. Any suggestions or testimonials?

Tekin RS and a 17.5 would be the most popular. I would get a 13.5 if you head to the big outdoor tracks. The 17.5 would be fine at the TT outdoor track.

Yeah, I was leaning towards a Tekin set-up. I'm not sure if I want to run a 17.5, though. Is a 13.5 really too much for that track, or is it just smoother and less chaotic with a 17.5?

There is no question when it comes to speed controls.... Tekin RS Sorry but there is still nothing else out there that is inline for stock racing. Others are as fast, but have heat issues.

If you are only going to buy 1 motor get a 13.5. It is easy to de tune it for TT and still have all the power you need for outside.

+1 Most are running a RS and 13.5 both indoors and out.
