Same as last yr except fr two areas; the sweeper is deeper and the entry into the straight is faster.

4wheeldrive 10-24-2010 01:33 PM

what motors will be run, same as last year?

jammincrtjames 10-24-2010 02:35 PM

17.5 for TC. Im not sure about 1/12 scale. Kumpol will have to chine in on that one.

I know last year he was talking about doing away with the Nimh and going to a 13.5 1s lipo only class for this year

so i wonder what the difference would be between 13.5 1s and 17.5 2s no boost/timing.

A 13.5 1s is no slower than a 13.5 2s. The 2s is just got a ROAR max. spec rotor and the 1s has a lighter one in it.:batman:

I think a 2s motor would be more fun because they produce more torque.

snoopyrc 10-24-2010 09:22 PM

You dont need a whole lot of torque on a 1/12th scale. The only benefit to 2s over 1s that I can see is faster servo response, but there are other ways to get that.

Sounds great! This is going to be the best carpet season to date :nod:
