Default Anyone tried the MurfDogg BL Motors?

Are they all that and a bag of chips? Thoughts, opinions, testimonials?

I have run his older 17.5 (duo2) and his new 17.5 motor and get what you pay for! They are very fast and tuned to your type of RC racing. I race mostly off-road short course right now but in most cases I can run my 17.5, using a Tekin speed control, and run right up front with the other guys using A LOT more motor. I have run for companies and am very happy with the Murfdogg Motor Works motors.

Plus the blue motor is really cool looking.

Joe has two of the new 17.5's

There deffinately Bad ass and cool looking. But I wouldnt buy one over another brand of motor neccisarily. I like the Duo's and duo2's though. I really like my original duo motors better than the 2's but the 2's are easier to adjust timing on.

From what I've seen, they look like great motors. Johnny over at High Velocity recently picked them up and is selling them for $89.99 (http://shop.highvelocityracing.com/p...7&categoryId=9) You can also get the black can motors there (http://shop.highvelocityracing.com/p...7&categoryId=9)

Sorry for the shameless plug

But yeah, I really want to get my hands on one before too long. From what I've seen with Joe's motors, they're FAST!

I have heard a lot of good things about MurfDogg and Icon motors. The Icon motors are little more expensive though.
