I hate to contribute to the thread going off topic, but the Camaro will smoke if it sits for maybe four days. 3.4v6 in it. Would love to go with a 350, but maybe I should look at a rebuild. Need a new clutch as well. This one hates it when it gets cold and sometimes it does not want to go into gear.

We have some speed passion motors and esc's on order that will make there way to the shop sooner hopefully rather than later. As well Barcodes and Suburbs for buggy are on order and as long as we don't have any catastrophic failures with the order will be here Friday as well as more suburbs, wishbones, and tires for the SC trucks

That is pretty cool that if you are struggling with not missing a game you can go race and still have it on. Where else can you do that. No where that I know of.

He also gave me his s10 today, the motor is blown in it and he doesn't want to spend anymore money on it. So if anyone has a v6 4.3l for sale I'm interested.

I ordered a whole new steering setup for the mini today. Only cost me $20 for a HS-65 servo, servo saver, and bell clank assembly. Gotta love eBay.
I took a look on the parts locator for a 4.3l, i guessed at a 1996-1998 model. Looks like you are gonna spend between 700-1000$ for a used engine with 100-150k miles on it........

If its another year look here. Its the same system junk yards use.

Rebuilding might be the option. What year is it?

It's a 1996. I am going to replace the whole thing. The block is cracked and I know that the truck overheated when the radiator hose broke. I have a feeling the block isn't the only thing wrong. It runs for about a minute and then seizes up. My Dad used to work for GM so he gets a employee discount when he orders from GM. We have been looking at crate motors, but we're not sure on pricing though because the place closes at 4?!?!?

I think my gearing is off...

I had this in my Mini-T and the wires crossed going in to the motor.
