I looked around the nexus site for some descriptions of the classes, all I saw:

- Touring Car 13.5 Lipo Rubber
- Touring Car 13.5 Lipo Foam
- 1/12 scale 13.5 Lipo / 17.5 NiMH (None IB Cells)
- Vintage VTA

But no other details. What are the common models/manufacturers, etc...?

Is this a VTA?

For touring, 17.5 rubber is the class this year based on racer demand/interest. You can run any touring car in the class although the most popular is the Xray T2 as Nexus sells XRAY parts almost exclusively. Other good choice include but are not limited to the Hot Bodies Cyclone, Associated TC5, Tamiya 415/416 etc...

Most people are using Lipo batteries and brushless motors...I would recommend getting both if you are starting out.

Vintage VTA can be any touring car, have a "vintage" body and tires, 21.5 motor and I think it has a max gearing that is allowed.

12th scale is by far the most popular class this year and cars include but are not limited to the Associated 12L4, CRC Carpet Knife, Xray 12 etc...

Also, there is a series going on for F1 cars...they will be having the first race of the series this weekend and might be a big class as well...PM ChadRacing for all the details.

We're still testing the trial version and setting up the site to download it.....we hope to have it ready by tomorrow. I was a little hasty in telling people it was available yet so bear with me.

Good job B-Rye! Car and driver ran well. On the other hand, don't forget to do your "I'm Jim Dieter!.. I'm Jim Dieter!" motor tuning exercizes!!!

Great job Curtis. Doing it again in 1/12th GTP and laying down some monster laps! Awesome work Dane! Good to see you out there getting better and better with each run. Keep it up. Good to see Tag and Company make the trip over. Chance it was nice to meet you and I wish we would of had more F1's racing. Hopefully next time more will show and won't have to leave early. I had fun running the F1 car. You high paid F1 Championship Series promoters get out there and round up some more racers!
