I am debating what classes to run. I am going to run both the buggy and the truck. I have a 17.5(not mine but I can run it), a 7.5 and I will be getting a 13.5 by the time the regional comes around.

What classes would you guys run? I am thinking mod 2wd buggy and 13.5 truck. The other option I have been thinking about is 17.5 buggy and mod truck.

If I was to go I would run 17.5.

Right now the second option(17.5 buggy and mod truck) is looking most likely.

Why don't you go with us Bo? All you really need are some tires and a 17.5 or a mod motor for your buggy.

Ok, I signed up for mod buggy and 13.5 truck. If I am going to get my butt kicked in mod, I might as well get it kicked while driving the car I drive best.

Now I need tires, wheels for the truck, and a ESC for the buggy. Once I have that I am good to go. I would also like an ESC for the truck as the GTB is not my first choice for an ESC.

I'm going to run Mod 4wd Buggy. Its the only class I can acctualy make a few laps with without needing to be turn marshalled Im sure I will be nothing but a rolling chicane though

Edit, oh and Gene if you want to run my 2wd buggy for the mod class so you dont need to make the motor swaps and whatnot your welcome to it

Hey guys,

Just wanted to take a moment and thank everyone for thier support for the Region 3 electric race in January. I have bee shooting PM's back in forth with Gene over the last month or so and have discussed some ideas for next year as well.

2009 has been a positive for Region 3, we not only held our first sanctioned regional in about 5 years but held 4, we also had 3 tracks join ROAR and am already talking to 3 more about joining for 2010. We are planning on 5 regionals next year including a 1/10 electric off road.

I have been watching the turtle trax website and am liking what you guys are doing, it seems to have been very positive. I am hoping next year to work on some events with Gene and Turtle Trax. I hope some of your ROAR members will cast a vote my way, so I can continue the good work that has already been started.

Leys hope for a good finish to 2009 and a strong start to 2010, I look forward to seeing some of you guys Oct. 31st at CRC.

Thanks Again

Speaking of that Halloween race, who is going? When are we leaving? I need to know today or tomorrow so I can get the time off. Right now I am supposed to work that weekend(the weekend of the 31st). If we leave Friday, then I need to take a vacation day. Which should not be a problem as I have only taken 1 vacation day off all year.

Edit: Also, I can drive if needed. I can carry 2 passengers and all their stuff in my car. All I would ask is for the passengers to split the fuel cost.

If you guys want hotels, I can contact the hotels I normally deal with for special events and see if they will do the same.
