New to North GA.
Hey Guys I am new to the North GA. area and I am looking for tracks to race at. I have been racing 1/10 nitro sedan, 1/8 nitro buggy, and 1/10 nitro stadium truck before my move to GA. I see a couple of tracks listed in Dalton and Battlefield for offroad. Does anyone have any comments about these? I don't mind driving a couple hours to race at a quality track. I'm having no luck finding nitro sedan racing. Any leads? Thankx looking forward to meeting some of you and of course some racing.
Thankx
Nick

THEY RUN NITRO SEDANS AT THE SUGAR BOWL. ELECTRIC SEDAN AT NEXUS'S INDOOR CARPET TRACK STARTS THEIR RACING SEASON THIS MONTH. DALTON AND BATTLEFIELD ARE VERY NICE TRACKS TO RACE AT.

Dalton and Battlefield race 1/8 nitro. No one really races gas truck anymore anywhere. TurtleTrax races electric 1/10 buggies, Slashes and open mod 4wd. Sugarbowl kinda races nitro onroad. Nexus in Kennesaw races 10th touring elec and 1/12 indoor carpet. Hope that helps.

Sugar Bowl in about 60 miles from Cartersville on Hwy 20 between Cumming and Buford. One of the guys will be around with better directions but its easy to pass the entrance to the track if you don't know where it is.
No web site, the hobby shop closed a few years ago but it has a very nice asphalt track.

The sugarbowl is essentially closed except when someone who knows the gate code opens it up. This is usually on weekends. Sunday's have been reserved for the on-road guys, PM "Winners Circle" for info.
The rest of the place is overgrown and the structures are falling apart. The offroad track is in ok shape for bashing or testing. It is usually a mud-pit for a week or so after any rain.
