I'll have to miss this weekend, too many plans going already. I'm sure I'll be down the following week. Maybe a weekend off will give me some time to actually work on my cars, to make the turn marshals safer I took the 6.5 out of my 4wd already (sorry again Bo, but good reflexes).

I'll be busy this holiday weekend too. I'm not planning on racing this Sunday. Depending what time I get home Sunday I might stop by the track later in the afternoon and lend a hand if needed.

The battery boxes should be pretty much the same in each car. If you have a standard 3,4 or 5000 2s hardcase lipo then it will fit. Sometimes you might need to dremel a little on the battery box for the perfect fit because these cars were not designed for lipo. Now for car choices B4 corners better but you have to muscle it over the jumps, the shocks are not IMO as good as the losi ones. XXXCR will jump with less work it likes a dry track better the shocks will last longer between rebuilds. You really just need to decide on which one you like the looks of. There is also the Kyosho buggy and if you really want to waste some money the X6 squared which will require you to buy a B4 and then the upgrade kit.

Length of the pack isn't an issue. Width is about 48mm. Height is adjustable by moving the brace up or down. 25mm high LiPO packs fit with NO problem at all in the B4.
What LiPO are you using Tyler?

In the end, all 4 manufactures are good and fast. All 4 were in the A-main in this weekends ROAR Nats and I think all 4 were in the top 5.

Associated took the win in every modified class at the Nats. 2WD was hotly contested between Tebo and Cav. They tied for overall points (199) but Cav had the edge in the tie breaker. In 4WD, Cav won A1 and A2 then sat out A3, letting Tebo take the win which secured him yet another 2nd place finish.
But yeah, pick whichever car you like the most. The B4 is a proven chassis that has been around for many years, same for the Losi. Like Richard said, the Kyosho is a middle ground. Dont forget about the Academy buggy as well. The easiest thing to do it just pick whichever one you like best.

The packs I am using are spc lipos. www.spcracing.com The length of the pack is 142mm Long, 47mm wide, 19mm tall. Its a 5000mah 2s 15c pack. You can get the updated packs which are a 20c discharge and a little bit smaller dimensions for $50.
I am starting to lean towards the b4 now. I can get parts for it easier. I am still going to run a losi brushless system in it.
Also do any of you know how much an old rc10t is worth? Its in good condition.

the Core 5000 pack's dimensions are:137.5 x 46.5 x 23.5mm. It's the closest I could find the pack you stated. As far as I know, a Core will fit into a B4 with little to no issues. Adam has both a B4 and a Core so he could tell you for sure. The only thing that I might worry about is the length but 4.5 mm is not that much.
