The F104 is looking like a cool ride from all the reports I am seeing on it. It does have some great features like the no-touch diff and the battery change setup. Still, the same money will get you an MLP MP3/8 which runs in the same class but with a viper chassis which gives it an edge. Checkout the 3- racing F109 also. Very cool car.
Stay away from the HPI for now. It is an entry level ride with not much going for it until the hopup parts start getting here. It's also 4 cell only and mostly plastic with a gear diff. Hey! My computer went through this whole thing without exploding as usual.

I sure do miss the F1 class.

You knowww I just ran the TCS f1 race. it was a six cell/lipo and a silver can motor and it was a blast and fast enough too. The silver can would sure keep the cost down on the class.
Just throwing that out there to see if any one is interested in racing a class like that.

Is racing at PT over??? I know I've been away for a while and I'm sorry to go away like I did but things at home have kept me from doing any racing at all for the last several weeks. Sort of like when the car fouls a plug it takes half the motor with it including the paint falling off and the ashtray exploding when a motorcycle cop is just passing you. It's been a bad few weeks around the ponderosa. My F1 cars are dying to get some laps in to the point that I have been thinking of flying out to LA to enter that ultimate F1 race in September...I need a fix.

Hi Guys! Harry, how did the TCS race go for you? I tried my F104 today at the carpet track it it seemed to work OK. Not as fast as my TCS 103 but not bad for just built with no tuning. I think it needs different rear tires however, car was a bit loose on carpet so it may be way loose outdoors. PS- we will be announcing date for the Oct Alpha Cup race in the next few weeks here in Carbondale.

My stooopid computer won't play videos for some reason. So much for the porno list.
