Spektrum - DX3R for racing, DX3S for bashing

Good support, good receivers, they work great, etc.

Plus, they are MUCH lighter than any other radio, which doesn't seem like a big deal, but it is after holding it for 10 minutes.

I have the DX3S and I love it. the only problem I have found is it will lose signal/telem on occasion. May be due to the cold weather. I've heard a hump pack fixes this issue. But again, I've been running in about 40º wet weather.

I have used both. The DX3R is light but after that the M11 is the superior radio in my opinion. I sold all my specktrum electronics due to erratic performance. I now run Airtronics spread spectrum with zero problems. Airtronics has been the choice for professional grade radio systems for many many many years.

Airtronics all the way. There a little worse on battery life, are a little heavier and bulkier. but at the same time they feel more sturdy and better quality. the other radio's just feel cheap to me. I know from experiance the Airtronics radios can take some abuse as well.. I only have an entery level DX3HSS radio right now but plan on an M8 or M11 in the near future.
