Just wanted to let everyone in Georgia land that the Jonesboro where the XRay Challenge is going to be held is in Jonesboro Arkansas NOT Jonesboro Georgia, Just thought I'd put my two cents worth in.
A little about the track. The track is is nestled in Jonesboro Arkansas less than one hour form the bridge. There are good people racing at this track, Kinda like the Sugar Bowl when it was a dirt oval we were all having a lot of fun racing and not caring about too much else and if any one remembers Dave Innues track in Lawrenceville that was a lot of fun also. I am getting off subject but the racers over here are all in this RC racing for the fun and entertainment.
So if you guys are running touring cars and want to have a full day of practice on a Saturday and race with the best XRay drivers then this is the place to spend a weekend. The drive from Lawrenceville years ago was about 8 to 10 hours, If I didn't bring my wife and kids, and that was before when some of the roads from Lawrenceville to Jonesboro were two lane and not four land where one can now drive 70MPH and not get a fast driving award (speeding ticket).
With that said the trip should go somewhat faster than in the early 90's.
Thanks,
JoeM
