I want to run on Saturday but it looks like work will most likely keep me on Saturday. So it looks like Sunday in Monteagle will be my best bet.

I like the idea of NOT having generators at the track. It's really hard to hear anything in Monteagle with 4+ generators running. A quite raceday might be a pretty cool change of events.
I understand the reason for the later start time now. That's cool. I guess sometime around 2:00pm would be a good time to arrive at the track.

Sorry to hear that. I plan on going to Monteagle as well. Depends on what I break on Saturday.

Nothing is written in stone. I'll have to wait and see what happens on Saturday. Who knows, I might be able to make both races.

Current weather forecast for Dalton is calling for T-Storms on Saturday.

I'm going to check the weather as the weekend approaches. Heavy rain on Saturday will not only make racing on Saturday impossible, it will make racing in Monteagle on Sunday a puddlefest just like last time.
We'll see....

Hopefully the water won't seep up thru the asphalt like it did in Monteagle.

Ohh gloom and doom. The weather just said am showers. If that's the case it will be easy. Doc and I will clean the asphalt and build the track Friday. If it does get wet in the morning I'll just get the leaf blower and fix that right away. I had something to do that morning but that is now canceled so I can get there early and have it ready for practice when the sun comes out. If anyone needs my cell # just send me a pm so I can give out updates since I'll be there making laps.
