Theoretically a parking lot will convert well to a track, but it has to be pretty smooth so the cars dont get upset at speed. Also the wrong type of sealer can be a deal breaker. There used to be a sealer company that advertised on here but I havent seen their ad in a while.

Oh yeah make it flat. Outlaw hates camber changes.

Colonelrc and I are meeting up on Saturday at some point to go over a little preliminary planning. I also need to get to as many events or meetings as possible for market research. I just want to make sure if I do build a track that it's right and people will want to drive a little for quality. Thanks!

It would probably be about an hour or so to get there from PT.

You mean 2 ! Titon Motorsports Inc ! Of course no high end stuff yet but we'll have the good stuff soon enough. I agree there does seem to be a shortage of road courses. I think it is largely due to the initial costs involved and maintenance . What do you think? LOL

how large is the parking lot and could it be a permanent track?
Wow...the downside may be the distance from Metro Atlanta???

The Sugar Hill Location is actually my house/office. I live approx. .75 miles from the bowl and hate to see it go but would love to revive something as this in my old hometown of Cedartown. Thanks! Jeremy

My parking lot is too small and in need of patching. There is a supermarket across the street and we get out there on Friday nights and screw around. I am currently looking for somewhere suitable to put something permenant which shouldnt be hard to find in Cedartown. Thanks Jeremy
