The next carpet race will be on 1/6. Not sure about the starting time. I'm sure George will post something about it soon. 1/6 will be the first race of the winter points series.

In order to maximize turnouts, I think having the Road Course points races at 6PM would be helpful. It would allow a larger crowd to attend the races. We lose out on some racers that have a long drive when the racing starts early in the day.

I also like the idea of alternating tracks weekly. Run oval ALL day one Saturday and then run Road ALL day the next Saturday. It would allow for a more neutral starting time of around 3PM - 4PM. Not too early, not too late. I know we can't please everyone, but we can try to do what works best for the majority of the racers.

What does everyone else think? Let's make this points series a good one!

I agree. It gives us more practice time as well, for those that want to show up early.
