we have tables and power. the only thing that might need is stools as all our tables are high. I'll have tables with some chairs setup in the back corner also.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, ...THANK YOU

What can we do next?....I hope everyone that came by Thunder RC Raceway today took something home with them...we really tried to give the onroad rc scene another look for those that gave up on TC,TA, or 12th

Im very happy with the turn out and competition....but more importantly the friends and family that made this Sunday a day to remember.....

Thanks goes to everyone from the outta towners, our local racers, Mike Skeen, Robert Dirla , Tim Moore, and Autum Moore....

and a really special Thanks to Donald "TQ" Martin for being the brain child of this event....very happy to call you my friend....thanks very much

I also would like to add that this could and should be an annual event for a SNOWBIRDS warm-up race....something to think about

THUNDER JAM 2009.....2010?

I had a great time, and plan on coming back soon it works out pretty good me and the gf can make it in just over 3 hours(plus its on sunday so I can run sat night also). justin and his wife are 2.5 hours from the track. Me and justin get a day to race and the girls get a day of shopping, although it gets a little costly.
gas $25
entry $15
lunch $5
shopping $300

And she says my hobby cost too much.

You Nash guys need to return the favor though now and get a big group up to come run at nexus.

SEE YA SOON

I'm going to have to find a time when I can come play. I don't have a 10.5 but it just looks and sounds like you guys are having a blast.

I'm sure a few of us will after march/end of the indoor season. The outdoor schedule has less races per month and I'm sure some of us will need a fix more than once or twice a month!

do you guys have any 'big' races planned for the summer? or any schedule into the summer yet?

Donald.

First things first. I have taken off complete control of Thunder RC. Michael Skeen has relinquished all control of the track to me. I have a lease for another year and have some ideas for some cool things to try. I don’t have the hobby shop stock right now but I am working on things to fix that.

Watch the forum http://www.nashrcracer.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=23 and the website http://thunder.rc50.com/ for more info

I have updated the calendar for the summer schedule. http://thunder.rc50.com/calendar/month.php we are racing Friday night alternating onroad and offroad through the summer to allow the local outdoor tracks to race. Plus it’s cooler in the track at night in the summer.

Points series starts in May for both onroad and offroad. One week a month counts so you have to run at least once a month to stay in the points.

Last I would like to thank everybody that came out for the Onroad Season Finale results are posted here http://results.rc50.com/Thunder_RC_N...le/03-29-2009/ results for the last Winter season offroad race are here http://results.rc50.com/Thunder_RC_N...le/03-28-2009/

Thanks to everyone for your support over the year I hope to keep up and improve your levels of expectation in racing at Thunder.
