this is bobby, and the last time i went to the bowl was like a month ago. I dont mind racing in ga but its just sad that such a great hobby is dying in this state. as far as moving for rc car racing thats the most broke back thing i have ever heard. Im just waiting on a decent track run by cool ppl thats all.

According to Google Maps, it's about a 15 minute drive.

The track will be open from 10AM-6PM tomorrow. I'll have the timing system setup. Concessions will be available.
During the month of March, we're only practicing. Races will start in April. From that point on, the track will open at 2PM for practice/registration and races will start at 4PM.

Gas Touring in Augusta!
We still race gas touring in Augusta, Ga. when we race in the parking lots.
We also have a permanant track set up in Bayvale R/C Park.
We have raced at both the Sugar Bowl and TFB. Can't wait till the Old Dixie club gets their thing going at the HobbyTown up there.
Electric Touring has picked up down here and is more popular now. We just came back from Easley, S.C. at the Carolina R/C Speedway where we raced Nitro and Electric Touring. Our club had 12 racers travel to race on a regular race day.
I don't know who the dude is that says he is building a track but I can't see no track on the link he provided.
