You should date and sign the inside of the body and ask that those that receive it next do the same before sending it onto it's next destination. Sort of a traveling review blog.

I'd love to be a part of this great idea, but I just closed last week on a second home and I'm selling my current one. I just don't have time for RC like I'm used to.....and it kills me!

Like I said in the review afterthought i will be trimming the rear bumper, raising the body mounts a little bit more and will also rebuild the shocks to hopefully get them a little smoother.

I also noticed the 6x6 rear axle has the frame extended basically and wondered how it would do as a 4x4 or with the addition of another rear extension and axle. I love that the axles can pretty much be added forever with the way they are designed.. i picture a 8x8 with 4ws. Hmmmmm

I'd be in as well. The P402 was interesting and I passed that on to my local Land Rover crew to run. If I can find 2 more tires I can upgrade them to the stock SCX10 wheels and tires and I'm sure I can find one or 2 more parts

Sounds good. I'm hoping to leave stock electronics in it unless they die ,as a test of durability. Its nice that theres a plug for chanel 4 it's labeled so you could add a shift servo.

Yep. According to the box that came with the 401 it can be extended up to a 10x10.the 401 definitely needs the servo mounted on axle. The frame gives to much so you lose about half the steering. Was going to ask you guys that know a bit more if those axles resemble another brand so I can get the servo mount.if not is fabbin time

I'll take a closer look at axles as far as sefvo mount but these are differeent than any others I've seen. I started with the rear shocks to smooth them out as 5 of the 6 are sticky. Very interesting design. No oil just a greased shaft so I'm trying to see how i can smooth then out. One was missing the collar for the spring at the top.a little extra grease helped one but not the second one. Back to the drawing board.

I had seriously though about pulling off the frame extension and rear axle and using the wraith cage thats modded for an scx10 frame on the p601 chassis for a 1.9 build.

The axles on these remind me of what's on the big trucks I deal with at work. Almost like a MACK or something. But they are neat.
